OPEN TRAINING COURSE

Integrated Cell Extractions, Conceptual Pod Domination & High-Risk Inmate Escorts

This is an OPEN course available to currently employed Corrections Officers or Deputies.
Law Enforcement personnel assigned to Riot or Disturbance Control Teams are also welcome to attend.

Being a member of your agency’s CERT / SORT / ERT / ESU team is encouraged but not required.
All attendees must be in good standing with their department or unit.

COURSE OVERVIEW

This course is designed to bring corrections tactical teams into the modern era with updated tactics and proven concepts. It establishes a strong foundational skill set for both full teams and small-unit operations.

This is one of our most requested courses. Riot operations and tactical response are core skills for corrections tactical teams, and this course focuses on real-world applications inside and outside the facility.

Course Length: 5 days
Operator Level: BASIC (foundation course)
Physical Requirements: Physically demanding – daily PT is required

TRAINING TOPICS INCLUDE

  • Integrated Cell Extraction dynamics and applications

  • Room evaluations during cell extractions

  • Conceptual Dynamic Pod Domination (CDPD) concepts and use

  • Tactical riot control operations

  • High-Risk / High-Value / High-Profile inmate escorts

  • Escort formations and team movement

  • Team evaluations and equipment selection

All training areas include live, realistic scenarios to evaluate proficiency and accuracy.
